Currently, SMEs, Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM), and Local Industries require assistance in effectively and efficiently marketing their local products through digital means. Research conducted in January 2022 by the Association of Digital Marketing Indonesia (DIGIMIND) revealed that there is a demand for 33,000 Digital Marketers for SMEs, UMKM, and Local Industries. In response to this need, the Association of Digital Marketing Indonesia (DIGIMIND) has collaborated with several public and private universities in Indonesia to offer an official 3-credit course (1 Semester) on Digital Marketing to ensure an adequate supply of talent for SMEs, UMKM, and Local Industries. Some of the universities that have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Association of Digital Marketing Indonesia (DIGIMIND) include: University of Indonesia, Gadjah Mada University, Pelita Harapan University, Atmajaya University, National University, National Development University, Islamic University of Indonesia, and Airlangga University.
